Do you accept insurance?
Each practioner has their own policy regarding accepting insurance, so it is suggested that you speak directly to your practitioner.  Most providers at the center expect payment at time of service, and provide necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Do you prescribe medication?

There are practitioners at the center that provide psychiatric evaluations and medication services.  Some clients come to us already having a counselor or psychotherapist that does not prescribe, and simply utilizes the medication management aspects of the practice.  Many clients utilize both medication management and counseling/psychotherapy services through one or more practitioners at Wellspring Center for Health and Wellbeing.

What if I cancel an appointment?
A cancelled appointment with less than 24 hours notice will still result in a session charge.  Insurance companies do not reimburse for cancelled appointments.

What if I am having an emergency and the therapist is not available?

If you require emergency services and the center is closed or the therapist unavailable, you need to call Hunterdon Behavioral  Health Center or go to your nearest emergency room:  The crisis line is (908) 788 - 6400.
Do you see children?

We do.  We provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy services. Please see our 'Conditions We Treat' and/or 'Services We Provide' page for a complete list.
